This sweet girl who we have named Snowflake has had such a bad few months. First she had an untreated bum leg for 3 months before her owners turned her into the selter…then the shelter amputated her leg because the untreated infection was so bad (and it is the worst amputated leg we have ever seen)…the she got URI which she got over…then her foster was scared of her herpes in her eye and brought her back to my vet where she was caged again (see email below)…then I found another foster but Snowflake has been hiding underneath her bed for 3 weeks and just getting more and more depressed – the current foster feels it is not a good environment for Snowflake because she has too many cats and kittens and not a lot of time to work with her …and today she is getting returned and back to my vet in a cage…..
If there is anyone who can please please help this girl, please let me know - I am so desperate and sad. She needs someone to help her use her existing legs because she is still having trouble walking
She eats laying down…it is so so depressing…I feel like she could have a chance to have a good quality of life with the right foster and environment.
Please email me if you can help at all.
