Pumpkin

This is Pumpkin!  Her sister and her came in on 9/01/11 (owners were moving) – I have had a hold on them in hopes that someone could have adopted them by now L  I actually got her sister Smokey adopted by a great family, but Pumpkin is still there and tomorrow is her last day – the shelter will not give me any more time, especially since she is black and they put a stop on black cat adoptions before Halloween.

Mom Cat and 5 Babies

A4340426 mom cat and 5 babies out Wednesday 10/12. No more extensions , Mom is semi-feral, babies are about 8 weeks and SUPER FRIENDLY, DYING TO GET  OUT OF THE CAGE…they got there 9/15 and their time is up!!!

Fendi

Fendi's 2 kittens

We got Fendi (sweet 2 year old calico) out a couple weeks ago and separately got her 4  kittens out as well…They were all going to be euthanized due to Upper Respiratory….The kittens and Fendi went to different hospitals (the kittens were more urgent so they went to a 24 hour critical care hospital)…Unfortunately, 2 of the kittens died despite major attempts to keep them alive (oxygen, feeding tubes, IVs, you made it)…Unfortunately the virus going around this year at the shelter is just too hard to fight for these little ones L  The 2 surviving kittens are doing fantastic now and we really want to get them into a foster home where they can roam and play J Fendi is also dying to get out of boarding.

 

Both the kittens and Fendi have been combo tested.

 

If you can help foster Fendi or the 2 kittens OR Fendi and her kittens together, please, please let me know…I hate caging these guys for long periods of time and they are ready to have some TLC!

Skittles is a 3yr old Siamese mix cat that is a very loving and friendly cat that gets along well with other cats and is an indoor only kitty. The people that have been taking care of her momentarily are moving by July 6th and will have to take her to the shelter if no adopter is found (very sad)

       URGENT~~  A4299029 Henry is a darling 2 year old Moo Cow black and white cat that came into the Carson Shelter as a stray on 6/23.  He had an injured leg that healed wrong so it is permanently bent now. The bent part runs on the ground and is a sore spot (see picture). He is being treated while at the shelter but I am sure he is in pain L The shelter recommends amputating his leg if he is going to be rescued. Despite all what he has been through, he still gets up for some attention, rubs all over me, tons of purring.  Henry’s review date is Thursday so he needs out then. The RVT at Carson personally asked if I could give him a chance and network him.  No pressure, huh?  He is super super sweet. We desperately need pull fees and funding for his leg in order to pull him – I am estimating at least $500.  We also need a foster for this sweet guy.
