UPDATE: We pulled Jerry today and he was rushed to the vet.  He as a very low temperature, VERY thin(he only weighs 4lbs and is a large cat), and very bad upper respiratory infection.  He is going to need aggressive therapy like IV antibiotics, IV fluids, warming blanket plus nursing care.  The vet is going to call me tomorrow on his condition after he has assessed him overnite. He is EXTREMELY matted all over his body and needs a good grooming if he survives.  The vet bill is going to be huge…PLEASE if you can help donate ANY amount you will be helping him in a tremendous way!!  <<<<<THANK YOU to all who have donated so far >>>See ways to donate below:

ID# A4369680 “Jerry” is an 8 yr old grey/wht geriatric kitty that came in on 11/29. A very gentle soul that would love nothing better than being a couch potato!  He is missing teeth and only eats wet food. He also needs a good grooming… Would be perfect for a senior citizen because of his gentle nature!  Poor Jerry needs to get bailed asap before he is euthanized.. Can you help?.

A4358159 is due out Friday 12/9. 2yr old DSH..He has already gotten an extension due to getting more urgent cats out last week.  . Volunteer’s notes: “We let him out of his cage to walk around and he just strutted around the whole area, rubbing on customers legs, waiting to get petted. he has a 3/4 length tail. loves attention”.  He is now on borrowed time ..  If you can help rescue or adopt him, please contact Cyndi Zacko cyndizacko@carsoncats.com or Caryn Klein carynklein@carsoncats.com

Shayla A4351351 is a young female kitty who was dumped at the high kill Carson Shelter because the owners were “moving”. (Who does that?? Had they never heard of a pet carrier?) She is just 2 years old, and despite everything, Shayla is a great cat. The owners left a owner profile on her where they said that she loves attention, loves kids, loves to play fetch and loves treats. She will even come up to the front of her cage to greet visitors. She was an indoor cat and uses the litterbox without fail. This is a very nice girl who has been at the shelter for 3 weeks and is out of time. Can you come and rescue her??

Domino  A4336761 4 Year old  female long hair b/w cat, with a shorter than average tail but very fluffy!  She came to the shelter on September 8th and was adopted from on 10/24 by the public, but returned 4 days later because their other senior cat did not get along with her.. sheesh give it more than 4 days!!!  She is very affectionate, loves attention. The shelter cannot give her any more time   I love her.

Diamond

A4349685 Diamond is a very loving 6 year old female who was brought to the shelter about 3 weeks ago. She LOVES attention and will rub and bump her head on visitors as if she were asking them to take her home. So far, no one has answered. The shelter has extended her “DUE OUT” date twice now because she is a volunteer favorite but they told me she needs out today  

I cannot take her myself as I have too many right now in boarding with no fosters lined up, but if you can help foster her/rescue her/give her a home, please email me at cdzacko@gmail.com!!!!
