I got a call from a vet tech at one of my vets about a cat her boyfriend has been keeping in his car for 6 months.  I am really confused about the whole story but I guess he found the very friendly kitty under the bushes on a busy street up in the Oakland area. She was extremely malnourished and he took her in and she reached a healthy weight.  Then he moved to the LA area and he isn’t allowed pets in his new apartment so the cat has literally been living in a car for 6 months…why he chose an apartment that does not allow pets is beyond me.  ANYWAY, I guess they have had no luck finding the cat a home so she contacted me several times and I guess the vet will not take the cat in either.  I had the vet tech take the cat into the vet under my account because I wanted to get more health history on it. We did a senior blood panel and free T-4 because the vet suspected she was hyper thyroid she was still so skinny but the tests came out normal…We also did xrays which shows the cat has arthritis in all 4 legs…but apparently is in no pain which is good and her spirits are great.  I have the vet boarding her because the vet did not think the car was a good spot for the cat to be in and the cat was eating like it was STARVED.

My name is Moe Moe and I am seeking a loving and caring forever home. I am an 11 year old spayed female gray/gold tabby.

I purr loudly but I am gentle and do not scratch nor bite. All I need is a warm and stable environment

Moe Moe

This kitty is a super friendly and sweet kitty and she really needs a real home to live out her days…who knows what her story is…the vet gave me the “employee” discount at $50% but the bill is still $350 so if anyone can donate to help offset the cost of this baby, I would be ever so grateful.  I just did not want to network Moe Moe without knowing her true health history and what care was needed.

If you can foster her or give her a home, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT cdzacko@gmail.com.  I have her in boarding until this Friday but can’t afford it after that so she will go back to the car Friday :(

Please see ways to donate below if you can chip in at all:

Kahnson A4366255

UPDATE:We got out Kahnson yesterday but she was in really bad shape :(   SHe had a 104 temperature, open mouth breathing and they took x-rays and her heart was very enlarged.  They suspect on top of her severe URI, she has a Hernia which she will need surgery for once she is well.

SHe will be at the vets for at least 10 days.

We are deperate for donations as we only got $150 for her and we spent over $400 yesterday on just pull, transport, blood work and initial diagnosis.

If you can donate ANY amount, please see chip in below or see other ways to donate below:

his pull fees are covered and there is a $100 donation to whoever can take him…he was extended until Wednesday as the clinic is full until then – so we have a CTA on him to keep him safe but he needs out of the shelter by Wednesday 7pm and foster by then

This 2yr old orange boy was left in a box along with 6 kittens that were sick and left to die.  the kittens have been rescued and vetted but this poor guy is still at the shelter.  He needs out by Saturday 11/26 or will be euthanized.  He is sick with a cold also but is currently taking medication. I know we are all busy with the Holidays and it is easy to forget the lonely ones still left at the shelter but if you can donate or help in donating or fostering it is MUCH appreciated!! If you can foster or adopt him please contact Caryn Klein carynklein@carsoncats.com

We also weill need funds for his vetting, transport, and pull fees. If you can donate ANY amount please see ways to donate below:
