Got a call from the Carson shelter this morning that “Maxie” A4229515 needs out of the shelter by the end of the day or she will be pts because she has a uri! Two 15yr Old Littermates Dumped At Carson Shelter Need Rescue ASAP! These are the 15 year old littermates turned in by their owner 1/6. 4229354 is male, brown tabby maine coon mix named KC. He has a URI at the moment and has been moved to Bldg. 4 for treatment. Was able to pet him. He is a little bony but I’ve seen worse.  

4229351 is female, gray tabby named Tiger. She was not happy last week, hiding & hissing. This week she is all love & sweetie-pie. Loves attention, rubs all over you. She had dry sneezes. Both are getting meds. Tiger could use a good brushing, her hair is kind of messy.

A4225257 is 5mos. old, female, black/white.  Intake date was 12/21. She was running loose in Bldg. 5 in December, caught & put on sick bay side of bldg. 5. (even though she wasn’t sick). Then they thought she was feral but a volunteer put her hand in her cage and pet her so she proved otherwise.  A real sweetie pie!

This guy is so scared being in the shelter.  If you talk to him he talks back to you as if trying to say “Get me out of here!”.  He seems very friendly but I did not stick my hand in his cage. see very short video below:
