Hi - In the past few weeks, we have been able to rescue 30 cats and kittens from Carson Shelter. We have been lucky and have found fosters for some and even homes for others, but these 9 are sitting in boarding waiting for someone to foster them, take them home or show them for adoption. Below is a link to a PDF document of all the kitties that need a foster/home! ***Unless noted, all cats are fixed, combo tested negative, micro-chipped, vaccinated and Ready to go! Carson Shelter Cats Rescued Recently that Need Fosters or Rescues ***If you have ANY SPACE at all for any of these guys, please email me at cdzacko@gmail.com.
PLEASE HELP! WE HAVE HAD NO RESPONSES ON DONATIONS OR FOSTERS AND BOTH THESE CATS ARE DARLING! THEY RESCUE FROM CARSON SHELTER TONIGHT BEFORE 7PM!!
I CAN PULL AND TRASNPORT BUT WE NEED FOSTERS AND DONATIONS!! SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS!
THESE 2 CATS ARE THE LONGEST CAT RESIDENTS AT CARSON SHELTER AND NEED OUT THURSDAY 2/16 EOD.
We need fosters for both and donations for their pull fees, combo tests, basic vetting, transport and boarding if needed – average is usually $200 – $250 per cat.
Please read about these sweet kitties and email me if you can foster EITHER of them, even if it is just for a couple weeks.

A4382311 Pepe
A4382311 Pepe This BIG HUNK OF LOVE is only 1 year old and came in as a STRAY on 12/30 and was confirmed already neutered so he was someone’s cat at some point in his short life. He is truly a precious boy with big green eyes, amazing long whiskers and very friendly personality.
He’s a big boy (not fat). Calm, friendly, healthy all his time at the shelter. Spent a couple weeks in the observation building where no one could see him until a volunteer noticed him and moved him. Very sweet, loves attention.
He is healthy and needs rescue Thursday, 2/16

A4381047 Penelope
A4381047 Penelope At just 8 months old, this girl is SUCH a PUUUR MACHINE and LOVES ATTENTION. Her impound picture is AWFUL and as you can see she was trapped and frigthened to death when she first came in
She was shy at first, but good lord who wouldn’t be trapped like that, but has come out of her shell since coming to the shelter and is a HUGE SWEETIE PIE.
Very perky, rushes over to get attention (that was not the case when first impounded), purrs galore. Really sweet!! Loves to be cuddled and get tummy rubs. She is healthy and needs rescue Thursday, 2/16

I got a call from a vet tech at one of my vets about a cat her boyfriend has been keeping in his car for 6 months. I am really confused about the whole story but I guess he found the very friendly kitty under the bushes on a busy street up in the Oakland area. She was extremely malnourished and he took her in and she reached a healthy weight. Then he moved to the LA area and he isn’t allowed pets in his new apartment so the cat has literally been living in a car for 6 months…why he chose an apartment that does not allow pets is beyond me. ANYWAY, I guess they have had no luck finding the cat a home so she contacted me several times and I guess the vet will not take the cat in either. I had the vet tech take the cat into the vet under my account because I wanted to get more health history on it. We did a senior blood panel and free T-4 because the vet suspected she was hyper thyroid she was still so skinny but the tests came out normal…We also did xrays which shows the cat has arthritis in all 4 legs…but apparently is in no pain which is good and her spirits are great. I have the vet boarding her because the vet did not think the car was a good spot for the cat to be in and the cat was eating like it was STARVED.
My name is Moe Moe and I am seeking a loving and caring forever home. I am an 11 year old spayed female gray/gold tabby.
I purr loudly but I am gentle and do not scratch nor bite. All I need is a warm and stable environment

Moe Moe
This kitty is a super friendly and sweet kitty and she really needs a real home to live out her days…who knows what her story is…the vet gave me the “employee” discount at $50% but the bill is still $350 so if anyone can donate to help offset the cost of this baby, I would be ever so grateful. I just did not want to network Moe Moe without knowing her true health history and what care was needed.
If you can foster her or give her a home, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT cdzacko@gmail.com. I have her in boarding until this Friday but can’t afford it after that so she will go back to the car Friday
Please see ways to donate below if you can chip in at all:
