$2000 and Fosters/Homes Needed for eye Surgeries for these Beautiful Siamese Darlings!!

ROCKO, ARTHUR AND THOR – - Rocko, Arthur and Thor are total sweethearts and were rescued from a high kill shelter before their euthanasia date…They were going to be killed for having problems with their eyes which are totally fixable.

Rocko has entropian eyes, a condition where his eyelids are turned inwards and that causes him much pain. It is totally curable with surgery but expensive. His surgery for both eyes is $1000.

all

Thor and Arthur both have cloudy eyes (one each) that were probably never treated when they were younger and are now are at risk for being continually inflamed and on getting infected. We would like to remove their cloudy eye so they can enjoy life, be maintenance and worry free!  Each eye removal is $500.

If you can help, please donate through our Donate Button which is tax-deductible and life saving!!!

We also need fosters and permanent homes for these kitties!  Please contact me at cyndizacko@carsoncats.com

Happy Holidays from Carson Cats!!

Carson Cats is an animal rescue dedicated to saving lives from the Los Angeles County Shelter system. In the past 6 years, we have saved over 6500 unwanted pets and in 2012, Carson Cats saved over 1200 animals!! We rescue all kinds of cats – young, old, skinny and scared. We also aren’t shy to help dogs, bunnies and other furry animals in need. We are a small team of volunteers that work around the clock to ensure that the most at risk lives are saved. We rely solely on the support of compassionate donors whose contributions allow us to rescue animals from the shelter system and pay for their much needed veterinary care.  A unique aspect of Carson Cats is that we also rescue many of the neighborhood feral cats brought into the shelters. These cats are the most at risk because they are not available to the public for adoption and therefore have no chance. We fix them, nurse them back to health and find them safe environments where they can live out their lives. We believe that every life deserves a chance.

As the year ends, we would like to share some of our most successful rescue experiences that have kept us inspired. We also wanted to thank you for your help in raising awareness to the millions of homeless pets that need our care.

1 YR FELV+ “MR” needs RESCUE!! ADOPTED AS A KITTEN FROM SHELTER NOW RETURNED!!!!

Mr.

“Mr” came in to shelter on 11/7 as an owner surrender. He was adopted as a kitten; part of a litter of 3, in late February/early March of this year. We remember when he was there and was so darling!!  The owners didn’t even keep him a year and we could not figure out why…until we saw he was FELV+ L L L  We suspect they had him as an indoor/outdoor and the brought him to the vet for something and had him tested?

Anyway, my heart breaks for these kind of cats.  He appears very healthy otherwise, has HUGE tabby white sock eyes and is so freakin friendly you just want to grab him and stick him in your purse and RESCUE HIM!!

PLEASE DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS??? I HAVE ONE OTHER FELV+ kitty that has been in boarding since September on the road to NOWHERE  and he is also darling…I feel like there has to be someone out there that can give this guy a chance?? Someone with another FELV+ kitty or someone without any other cats??

Here is his ADORABLE Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc-K8GZNFHo

If you can help or have any ideas at all, please email me at cdzacko@gmail.com.

If you can sponsor him, we will need at least $250 to cover his FELV testing and possibly and IFA test and pull fee/transport.  You can chip in below or see bottom of my email for other ways to donate.
